**********************************************************

With the cold weather in full swing,

We ask that everyone be

careful on the roads and in your homes.

Be sure to clean your chimneys prior

to using your wood burners or fireplaces

and clean them periodically through the time you

 are making use of them.

*****

Make sure the batteries are good in your

Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors

and that they

are working properly.

 *****

Also be mindful of space heaters and open flames,

candles, stoves.

Be sure to read the manufacturers directions

on use and placement of these types of devices

 *****

You may also experience frozen water pipes

during the cold weather,

never use an open flame or torch

to warm or un-thaw the water pipes.

A torch puts out a tremendous amount of heat

and this could quickly ignite other materials

around your water lines
